About Us

CheckMy Grant is an independent guide to South African government grants, student funding and public support programmes. We turn official rules into short, plain-language guides that work well on a phone.

What we do

• Explain who qualifies for each grant and how to apply
• Track payment dates and amount changes
• Build free tools such as the status check and means-test calculator
• Warn readers about scams

What we are not

We are not SASSA or any government department, and we cannot approve, speed up or change a grant application. For decisions about your grant, contact SASSA directly.
